Harold Tillman is one of the veterans of the British fashion industry, a key player since graduating from London College of Fashion in the early 1960s. He’s a serial entrepreneur. At the tender age of 24, he floated the Savile Row tailoring business Lincroft Kilgour on the London Stock Exchange. There, he had the brilliant idea of asking the celebrity footballer George Best to wear the brand’s suits.
